A pity that the Carry On film team only got to the initial filming stage before cancellation and Carry On Up The Jungle took its place on the schedule.

I always liked Ray Barrett as an actor and missed meeting him once by five minutes. He was the hero in the Hammer Horror film,The Reptile,and seemed to be in literally every TV series in the 1960s-early 1980s.

THE ON THE BUSES 40TH Anniversary event will be held at Elstree Film Studios on Saturday 27th June.
