Jean-Yves Ferri will be the third writer of Asterix, Albert Uderzo announced the monthly comic Casemate, in the number 40 on newsstands Monday, July 25 . Ferri succeeds René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo – who scripted ten albums of the little Gaul after the death of co-creator of the series.

Known for De Gaulle to the beach or scenarios for its return to Earth (drawing Larcenet), Jean-Yves Ferri is currently working on the next album of the adventures of Asterix and Obelix, designed by Frederic Mebarki, longtime collaborator Uderzo, ink and author of all the Asterix visual products. If no release date is announced for the moment, Uderzo has closely monitor the implementation of this first adventure-signed Ferri Mebarki!
