This story begins in Kisilova,Hungary in the year 1704 and
begins to set the scene of events to come before switching to
modern times.
In particular to Crosstown Falls,USA,the night before Halloween.
It’s the last night of the condemned town movie theatre, which is
closing with an all-night Dracula-athon -have these people not learnt
the lesson from the movie Scream? Answer:NO,they have not! So, the
small group of movie-goers suddenly find themselves trapped inside
when the theater is surrounded by a horde of vampires. A deadly siege
begins, and the moviegoers soon make the terrifying discovery that the
night projectionist is himself a member of the coven. But is he
a friend - or foe?
I love those movies where people are trapped in a cave system,
spaceship, cruise liner or whatever and get picked off one-by-one
-anyone remember Knight Demon with Billy Zane’s great performance?
This book builds up and then cuts you off at the last page. It
leaves you thinking -”When is the next issue out??” Its very
effective.
And its been optioned by Myriad Pictures [Kinsey,The Good Girl
and the excellent Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2!].
And Robert Heske has written the series. You want more about
why you should buy this full colour comic? How about the fantastic
art of Diego Yapura which is wonderfully set off by Jorge Blanco’s
colour work?
Start buying it now if you are a horror comic fan or even horror
film buff -when the film comes out these books will soar in price
and be like gold dust.

Hey -I knew Robert Heske before he became a big time movie writer
[see,got my “I knew…” in before you].
And though I know little about Studio 407 their website shows some
great looking titles:they could be BIG in future! [maybe I ought to ask
for review books?]
