Wellll,yes,it was available at the Expo where I briefly met and chatted to Karen who
had no idea who I was [fame can be a real bitch -I thought everyone knew me!] and Willie
Hewes,publisher of this fine book. A collectable free card featuring one of the characters
on the front cover came with every purchase…I never got mine even though I broke my
strict rule about NOT buying review books! I WANT MY CARD BWAAAAHH!!
Erm. Anyway,I really liked this and the cover blurb:”We’re All Animals Underneath” says
it all. I am not going to give any plot away or storyline but it’s a good ‘un’! Karen’s
artwork and use of grey tones is improving and I’m sure she will become one of Itch’s
big stars in future. From superb cover to last page it’s a quality item.
A pity zinesters tend to get quiet when I’m around! I would have loved a longer chat
with Willie and Karen but,perhaps,next time?
And get well wishes to Anna who is apparently ill at the moment.
