Captain Action Still Building Up Momentum!

I asked Joe Ahearn how things were progressing with Moonstone’s Captain Action title as I can’t find any

retailer carrying the book. Joe was speedy as ever with his reply:

“Things are moving along. Issue 3 is out now and issue 4 is at the printers & should be out in mid May. Issues 5 and 6 are being drawn as we speak.

Issue 5 will end the first arc written by Fabian Nicieza. Issue 6 is a stand alone story by Steven Grant. After that we are going to relaunch as Captain Action #1 in a new longer 16 page format with one CA family six page back up. Also in the works is a Lady Action one-shot and we are also working on a comic treatment for our robot property Zeroids as well.

In July, we’ll be at San Diego Comicon helping promote the release of our Captain Action coffee table book being published by Twomorrows Publishing, and we’re also putting together a CA exhibit in conjunction with Diamond’s GEPPI toy museum in

Baltimore some time in August.

That and lots of other stuff keeping us busy.
