Some strange burglaries take place at each performance of the play “The Dashing White Cowboy” given by the company of

W. Baltimore. Simply coincidence? Suspicious, Lucky Luke follows them. Unfortunately, it’s he who is accused of theft in every city the actors pass through. After all, he’s also a stranger. But despite this series of arrests, Lucky Luke won’t let Baltimore and his troupe leave him behind, and he’ll clear his name…

For some reason people keep writing that I hate Lucky Luke. I do not.  If I didn’t like the book then I’d ask Olivier Cadic to send me something else to review!  I like either serious Westerns or comedies –Cactus Jack,Our Town Needs A Gunfighter,Our Town Needs A Sheriff,The Scalp Hunters,etc..  It’s just that I find humour in some comics no longer “doing it” for me [even Ambush Bug!].

As I’ve said before,Lucky Luke is the “eternal cowboy” and a character/series does not last that long if it’s no good.  Lucky Luke The Dashing White Cowboy is album no.14 from Cinebook.  And as you’d expect it is well written, printed and the art is full of some very nice poses and full of movement.

No doubt our friends in

India will love this –in fact,Cinebook seems to be making a lot of folk out there Euro comic fans. At this price how can you go wrong?!
