Reg Varney 1916-2008

Very sad news today,ignored by most of the TV,Radio and other media. Reg Varney,one of the UKs top comedians of the 1960-1980s has passed away at the age of 92. Reg,who played bus driver Stan Butler from 1969-72 had been in ill health over recent years and made his last public appearance in 2004.
