Eventhough, I shouldn’t be saying down about a comic publishing from my own country, I should admit that Diamond never grown out of their habit to satisfy the Tweens and only the Tweens, with their Comics. The artwork and story plot is the testimony to that fact.
One of the reasons why they remain in the same size, while Gotham Comics has zoomed past with their Virgin releases.

Well,Rafiq,Diamond was one of the companies I submitted proposals to which would have taken them from not just producing what seem like childrens comics but comics that would also entertain older readers.
I know from the Super Commando Dhruva group that there are many,many thousands of fans who want action and adventure -Gotham I’ve not seen titles from since Virgin got involved -and then dumped them [as I predicted].
Raj seem to be improving but none seem to seriusly think about the many,many Indian fans spread about the world.
With its distributin and so on,Diamond SHOULD be India/Bangladesh’s top comic company but they just will not evolve. A great pity.
