 New Golden Documentary Makes Spanish Debut!

Aviles Cultural Festival Opens with First Screening
Aviles, Spain. — The new Michael Golden documentary from Creator Chronicles will be making its Spanish debut this week in Aviles, as the  festival opens with a special unveiling of the comprehensive work for Spanish fans.

 Focusing on one of the most influential comic artists of the last few decades, the new film on comics creator Michael Golden features an in-depth interview with the co-creator of Rogue, Bucky  O’Hare and Spartan X, and gives fans a candid and refreshing look at the man behind the stories. Produced via Woodcrest Productions and Eva Ink, the disc features 312 minutes of footage, including outtakes, a how-to drawing session,  as well Golden’s M-Gallery opening in Manhattan, and much more. The interview section will be screened in its entirety in Aviles.Two other future “Creator Chronicles” subjects will be attending the Aviles festival in the flesh, as well. Joe Jusko

Renowned illustrator Joe Jusko is virtually a household name to anyone who loves painted covers, revered for his realistic depictions of comic characters, beautiful women and barbarians. While, William Stout is America’s leading dinosaur illustrator, who has also worked on over 30 feature films, including Conan, First Blood, and  Pan’s Labyrinth, as well as being a Walt Disney Imagineer.Jusko and Stout will be attending all days of the festival along with Producers Renee Witterstaetter and Robin Dale of the “Creator Chronicles” documentary series, who will be filming a feature on the festival.

As a writer, Renee’s  recent books include “Excess: The Art of Michael Golden,” from Vanguard Productions and the upcoming “Tex: The Art of Mark Texeira.”Other artist in the “Creator Chronicles” series include George Perez, Bill Sienkiewicz, as well as upcoming pieces on Mark Texeira, Joe Sinnott, Matt Wagner, Peter David and more. 

The screening of “Creator Chronicles: Michael Golden” takes place on September 10th, at 3:00, located at the Videocine building.  Presentations and interviews for/with Joe Jusko are on September 14th at 5:00 and for William Stout at 6:15, both located at the Auditorio Casa Cultura.
