Stan Lee Strikes Again!

Legendary comic book creator Stan Lee and his POW! Entertainment Inc. (Pink Sheets: POWN), along with Brighton Partners, have joined forces with Rainmaker Entertainment to launch the new superhero property “Legion of 5,” it was announced today by Warren Franklin, CEO of Rainmaker. Rainmaker, a leading CG animation producer,will develop and produce the feature length film properties.

  

From the mind of Stan Lee, famed creator of “X-Men,” “Spiderman,” “The Fantastic Four” and “The Hulk,” comes an exciting new animated superhero franchise entitled “Legion of 5.” The property, owned jointly by Rainmaker, POW! and Brighton, will initially be launched through a series of CG animated films, supported by traditional and electronic comics, games, merchandising, and online and mobile releases.

The partnership was arranged by Rainmaker’s Aaron L. Gilbert, who will serve as an Executive Producer on the property alongside Rainmaker’s Executive Vice President Paul Gertz; Stan Lee, Gill Champion of POW!; and Cord Beatty of Brighton Partners.

The three companies will be together at this weekend’s New York Comic Con where Stan Lee will receive the inaugural “New York Comics Legend Award” at a special VIP party at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square.
