Cheerful..hmm!
Just realised that in my item on comics people being cheerful I said Panini were not producing new material.
Well,”yes” and “no”.
My old pal Jon Haward was drawing Spider-man for them and there is the Dr Who strip.
What I should have said is that there are no new titles featuring British characters set in the UK and written-drawn by British creators.
Sadly, the odd mistake gets made when you write so much!
I guess the old American addage:”Make Britain American” has come true to a degree.
Oh. Just realised. Classical Comics -MacBeth and Henry V are all UK characters based in the UK..damn. Uh,well, give me 24 hours and I’ll worm out of this one as well.
