"I was asked, but with the logistics of lack of time to draw the cover, all the people involved and the approval process for the script and art, and the contract, I decided not to participate."

"From what description I read of the characters involved in issue #3, a cover by you featuring Usagi and those characters would have been pretty cool. Or was the cover planned as a group project with a number of creators all adding their own characters to the drawing, similar to Critters #1?

What I still have not figured out from what I read about the project is if you and the other creators were just allowing your characters to be drawn by the artist doing the book or if each creator was drawing the main segments that their characters appeared in.

Definitely a very ambitious project, especialy if each creator was contributing artwork."

"I would have done the cover myself, and would license Usagi to be used in the interior drawn by someone else. To have every creator draw his/her own character, even on just the cover, would be too expensive in shipping expenses and time."</description>
