Nostalgia for Old Boys!

Posted by admin On February - 28 - 2008

It seems my little item on the Swoppet Captain Scarlet raised a few tears of nostalgia from some oldies out there!

The question was raised re. the size of the figures.  There are two main sizes -1/72nd scale is between 23-25mm in height or,if an old Airfix collector “Ho/00” -and there are MANY sets out there now.

THE site for old and new 1/72nd is Plastic Soldier Review which looks at old and new sets.  Their link is:

The larger size, the size of the Captain Scarlet figures,is 1/32nd or 54mm.  Old figures and many links you’ll find at the world famous Army Men Home Page.  It’s not been up-dated for a while but is excellent.

Should get more than a few tears of nostalgia going.  Boys and their toys!!
