Free-to-download GCSE Resources - 96,400 hits!!!It’s amazing! The response we’ve had to our free to download resources has been overwhelming - and we’ll hit the 100,000 hits mark by the end of February. It’s fantastic to know that we are helping young teenagers to understand and enjoy Shakespeare. Although we created the resources specifically for the Key Stage 3 English test, we know that the resources have been used to bring the plays to life for all ages of student, and also for students in other countries. What’s more, we’ve had some really lovely emails back from teachers appreciating what we’ve done to help them teach these wonderful texts:
As a long serving primary school teacher who, for very complicated reasons, finds herself teaching KS3 Shakespeare, may I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful ‘Much Ado’ resources.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.I have two very challenging “bottom set” (hate that terminology – but that’s what my school does!!) Year 9 classes who were not at all keen to study Shakespeare. I, on the other hand, LOVE his work and “Much Ado” is one of my personal favourites. Your resources will be so helpful, useful and I hope inspiring!
Thank you so much. I’m not actually teaching year 9s this year, but never the less I’ve downloaded the free set scene resources. I’m using them at GCSE level to really focus on the language and structure. Thank you, again. If you haven’t already done so, Click Here to view and download the free resources
You can also see the resources on our stand at the education show from 28th February to 1st March:

Patrick Stewart likes us !Yes, that’s the Patrick Stewart !! Here’s what he said:
“I’m fascinated by your approach to the play and its language. I find them gripping, dramatic and, although for me the original Shakespeare is always my reason for turning to these plays, I think that what you are doing in illuminating and making perhaps more lucid, especially for young people, is clever and meaningful.”
How cool is that??

Other TitlesYou can see them all here: http://www.classicalcomics.com/titles.html. But as you’ve taken the time to register your email address with us for updates, I can also reveal that we’ve already started on The Tempest using the same art team as for Macbeth (Haward/Erskine/Dobbyn) as well as entered into verbal agreements with other artists for Hamlet and possibly JB Priestley’s “An Inspector Calls”.
With all these titles in production, we’re busier than ever!
