Manga publisher DrMaster Publications has announced the release of Stray Little Devil, volume 5, the final volume of the critically-acclaimed manga adventure series centered on Pam, a young devil-in-training trapped in a fantasy world where humans are mere myth.

Upon learning of Aregna’s death, Linfa gives in to the dark side and transforms into the ancient queen of angels, Ishtar.

Abducting Storm Genie En-Zu from Pam, Ishtar invokes Enuma Elish, a chaotic recreation of the Spirit World. Can Pam save Zu, Linfa, and the Spirit World? The next book from Dr Master is by Chiaki Taro  and if you like cutesy intermixed with a little -little - sexiness this is for you.  I can see why so many female comic fans get into these Manga;reading through this I realised that there was nothing distinguishing to book as “for guys” or “for gals” -we’ve hit the age of the unisex comic!!

I actually have to admit that I much preferred this book and its style and story compared to STRAY LITTLE DEVIL.  And for those wanting to know what it’s all about…

The next one I’ve been waiting for….

And action-packed it is!  I was hooked.  There is the usual Hong Kong style with its vibrant colour,speed lines and effects -including some of my favourite captions identifying martial arts techniques.

But what made me dribble coffee and yell out “WHAT THE ****??!” very loudly was the fate of the group of heroes at the hand of the now seemingly god-like M Bison!  Seriously,if you read from volume 1 on and you think the action has been great then volume 7 will blow your socks off!!!

I cannot recommend this series enough and I give it a full 6******out of 5!!!

The next volume is the final part and I’m on an oxgen mask waiting!!!

Is it safe to say that this is a series that will help define Dr Master Publications for the future?  I think it is.  Quality from art to story and finished publication -the company deserves a big pat on the back!
