DHP –Calling All Cosplay Fans!
I know we get to see people running around in home made character outfits at the International Comic Expo and other conventions,however,it is taken very seriously by Japanese and Chinese fans.
Vicky provided me with the info so,for you Cosplayers out there:
“In the run-up to the Spring 2008 release of DHP’s third book in the series, “We Love Cosplay Girls,” we’ll be hosting a worldwide Cosplay Contest right here on this website. Send us a picture of your best Cosplayer pose and you’ll have the chance to win one of our big prizes!
Here’s all you have to do.
Either email dhp@dhp-online.com or snail-mail us your best Cosplayer picture, together with your Cosplay name, your age, your character’s name, which anime it is from and your full address and contact details.If we like your picture, it’ll be added to our Cosplayer Parade with your name, age, hometown/state, and which character you are playing. You will not be contacted unless you are a final winner, so remember to check back regularly to see if you made it through to the next round. Next year, our website users will vote on who they think are the best Cosplayers. The top three will win special prizes and a feature on this site. However, everyone’s a winner, as everyone chosen for the Cosplay Parade will get a free copy of “We Love Cosplay Girls,” to be released Spring 2008. So what are you waiting for?
