EEK! Don’t Come To Bristol In November?

“Why?” you ask “Is that when Bristolians seize non-natives and sacrifice them to Magog??”   No…well, not unless you’re in Knowle West.

A LOT of confusion over the November Manga Festival.  There isn’t one.  Many people, like myself, read it to mean that after this November future festivals would combine with the May Comic Expo to make a huge international event.

Well, yes and NO.  Mike Allwood, the organiser, got in touch to make it clear that the November Festival is  CANCELLED!

I do know a few people had organised trips to Bristol expecting the festival but I hope they can cancel in time.

So,there is NO Manga festival this November in Bristol.  Disappointing but there you go.  2008 should be a really big event so I hope to meet some of you next May [aww!].

  1. Darron Northall Said,

Wrong; sacrificial victims are offered to BAAL; Magog is a two-syllable word, and is thus beyond the intellectual comprehension of most Knowle Westers (Or, should that actually be “Lower Dundryites” if a feature on this morning’s Radio Bristol is to be believed?)
