DC HeroClix: Justice League heralds a new era for HeroClix! With 60 individual characters, the Justice League set represents one million years’ worth of JUSTICE LEAGUE characters!
Each five-figure Justice League Booster Pack contains even more action packed 3-D super hero combat than any DC HeroClix release before. All-new HeroClix character cards add powers and abilities to make your favorite super heroes more realistic than ever.
Keywords link Justice League heroes to other heroes and their allies from previous HeroClix releases. Each card also provides character background information like real names and first appearances that enhances storylines. Even with all of these great additions, DC HeroClix: Justice League is still fully compatible with all HeroClix products.
Gen Con Indy 2007 will be the only site for the DC HeroClix: Justice League Prerelease tournament. HeroClix players will be able to see the Justice League set before it is even available at stores! The winner of the Prerelease tournament will receive a BATMAN Utility Belt replica.
Beginning in September and spanning five weeks, the “STARRO Attacks!” event will be one of the largest events ever offered for the DC HeroClix line.
One weekly Sealed event will be held during weeks one through four, using game pieces from Justice League. Each week that players participate, they will receive an exclusive Slave of STARRO figure that players can use in the event’s subsequent weeks. The grand prize of week five will be a STARRO colossal figure.
Each DC HeroClix: Justice League Booster (MSRP $9.99) contains five random figures with character cards and one feat card, bystander token, or battlefield condition card.

June 27, 2007 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc. announced today the release of the Marvel™ HeroClix®: Avengers set, which continues the celebration of the fifth anniversary of HeroClix.Avengers brings big changes to the HeroClix brand, which has become a staple in the hobby game community. Improving collectability and adding character cards, Avengers is completely compatible with all other HeroClix rules and characters.
A new rarity scheme reflects the industry standard, using a colored set symbol on the figure’s base to indicate its rarity. Character cards give figures more thematic powers and abilities plus additional background information such as first appearances, real names, and notable events in the character’s history.
And never before has HeroClix offered consumers more value, with booster packs about 30 percent larger (to prevent damage to figures and cards) and an additional figure, bringing the total to five figures per pack.
Avengers is available in booster packs (MSRP $9.99) that each contain five random miniature game figures with character cards and one feat card, bystander token or battlefield condition card.WizKids’ Organized Play program* will support Avengers with a five-week tournament called “The Coming of Galactus™” world event. WIZKIDS ANNOUNCES “STARRO ATTACKS”WORLD HEROCLIX EVENT!
July 13, 2007 (SEATTLE) — As part of its continuing celebration of the fifth anniversary of the HeroClix® collectable miniatures game (CMG), WizKids Inc. announces the “STARRO Attacks” world event. Beginning in September and spanning five weeks, the “STARRO Attacks” event is one of the largest events ever offered for the DC HeroClix line. STARRO the Star Conqueror itself is the top prize for the ultimate winners of these events.
In an effort to conquer Earth, STARRO the Star Conqueror released psychic clones that attach themselves to their victims’ faces. For this event, STARRO takes control of four JUSTICE LEAGUE members, which have been created specially for this promotion as participation prizes for players. The event will take place at select retail locations worldwide. During weeks one though four, each weekly tournament is held as a Sealed event using game pieces from the DC HeroClix: Justice League set, which releases at the end of September.
Participants will receive an all-new, exclusive Slave of STARRO figure. Players will not want to miss a week because they can swap out figures pulled from a Sealed Booster with Slave of STARRO figures they have won in previous weeks. In week five, HeroClix players will compete to win the colossal DC HeroClix STARRO figure, using WizKids’ official tournament rules.
