Why is it that every country but the UK seems to have a really good comic publishing industry? Okay,we have Manga being drawn in the UK and some Independent comics but if you look at Egmont with over publishing houses in over 25 countries,their products tend to be universally declared “toy advertisements with comic accidentally included”.
However,in Finland they reprint Johnny Red,Jet Ace Logan and even the Black Sapper.
If you navigate their Finnish site you’ll find Manga like Oh My Goddess,war comics and even the legendary Western series Tex Willer. The url for the curious is:

The point here is that with Thomson changing The Dandy recently and Egmont UK not producing anything worthy of note [but reprinting UK comic material in Finnish!!],have those involved in the industry got no idea how to put a comic together or run a company?
Give me a job and I’ll have comics in the UK up and running in two years!
