Initially,when this title first appeared I was 50-50 on whether to keep buying. I’m glad I stuck with it. Adam Hughes’ Mary Jane grabs the cover with the kicker line of them all:”Face it,Tiger..You just hit the jackpot!” But there is even more -8 Pages in FULL COLOUR showing why AH! needs to get a “coffee table” book together -and it should sell!!
There is a fascinating look at the 1970s Isis Tv series by Andy Mangels;this one contains so many photos that looking at them,then reading Mangels great article made me wish I had seen the series!
If you never caught the incredibly superb 1980s Tv series The Flash,starring John Wesley Shipp as Barry [The Flash] Allen,you really did miss out,chickies! Superb stories and great villain portrayals by David Cassidy as The Mirror Master and brilliant performance by Mark Hamill as The Trickster! Well,get this issue! David Guttierez churns up the facts and the photos…ahh,Amanda Pays {sigh}.
But they should have named the idiot who caused the series demise by putting it on at the same time as top rated Cosby Show and The Simpsons!! No new show is going to survive those two no matter how good.
There is a BIG Star Trek comics writers roundtable with lots of art. Too much to review in so short a space -but the photo “Superman vs Cyclops” feature is worth buying the mag for!
Please,please,please go and buy a copy! Put in a standing order at FP -but if you don’t,you have no one else to blame for missing so much!!
