New Dr Who Comic

IDW has announced that it will be publishing a new Dr Who comic in early 2008 with the David Tennant Dr. Also,the 1980s Dave Gibbons Dr Who strips are to be coloured and included in the book.
As Dr Who on TV, under Russell T.Davis ,continues to lose some of its popularity,will a new comic succeed? The main hope,of course,is that sales in the US market would be good enough to sustain it -come on,the UK market is hardly considered these days.
