OH DEAR GODS PLEASE MAKE THIS THE REAL FINAL CRISIS!

Erm. Spleen vented.

Yes,after six years of…sorry,no idea how long it’s been now but we’ve had Identity Crisis,Infinite Crisis,52,Countdown and so many tie-ins that I real;ly don’t think DC has any credibility [ unless you count the shareholders who’ll be rubbing their hands greedily at the money coming in -even if Marvel is kicking DCs ass sales -wise].

So,in an age of these companies employing a small stable of writers,creating a rather stale feeling to the “Big Two”,when it was announced that DCs next [yawn] “big event”,Final Crisis [hey,it is in writing so that’s a legally binding promise!] was on it’s way we flipped the coin to guess who’d be the writer.

J.G. Jones [who drew the covers for the 52 series] will be the artist for the seven issue mini series.  And the writer?  Well,had I been a gambler I would have won  big time -though the sheer predictability might have made that just a little bit of a fantasy on my part.

Okay. It’s..Grant Morrison.

Seriously,never met Dan Didio but I think the rumours that his job may be at risk will gather momentum.  Awful decisions he’s made.  Yet,at least Joe Quesada has been strengthening Marvel,despite controversy over the death of Captain America.

I’d give you the whole storyline for Final Crisis.  I think it’s going to be that predictable.

Will I buy?  Will I hell!
